“I have a simple leadership belief, which is people don’t care what you know unless they know that you care. You believe in me and I believe in you. Together we’ll sacrifice.” - Tom Mendoza joined NetApp in 1994 as the head of North American Sales and later served as the company’s president from 2000 until 2008. Mr. Mendoza has more than 30 years as a high technology executive and has served on the boards of multiple high tech companies. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and is an alumnus of Stanford University’s Executive Business Program and is a guest lecturer at both institutions.
