The Chairmens
Committee and Benefactors of the Computerworld Honors Program have made
possible the pursuit of a systematic program of oral histories and video
biographies of some of the most outstanding leaders of the information technology
revolution. The interviews are designed to capture for posterity some of
the personal and professional stories of these individuals, their goals,
ideals, mentors, sources of inspiration and thoughts on the future of the
information technology revolution.
Transcripts and, in many cases, highlights of the original audio or video
recordings of these interviews are rapidly becoming available through the
resources of the Smithsonians National Museum of American History
and The Computerworld Honors Programs Archives On-Line.
